Nicolas PhilippouNicolas Philippou is the CEO of the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) since January 2010 and he has been elected Board member of the ECL Executive Board in September 2017!

"As the CEO of The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF), my values are to be patient centered, goal oriented, transparent and professional with the aim to develop and grow our organization and be able to generate impact towards achieving best patients’ outcomes. The same values and spirit I will try to bring to the Executive Board of ECL and along with the rest of the executive board members and the management, I will work towards achieving the mission and goals of ECL.
Over the past 8 years, I have been actively involved in the fight to control cancer through the promotion of prevention and early detection of cancer in the general public and the improvement of quality of life of all cancer patients and their relatives. I also became a strong advocate of Holistic Patient Care and I firmly believe that investing both in Cancer Control Plans implementation as well as universal healthcare coverage, it is imperative in order to improve cancer treatment outcomes, control and prevention."
