Friday 16 January DEADLINE to tell the EU to stop exposure to hormone disrupting chemicals
Brussels, 12 January 2015 - An important new reason to act on hormone disrupting chemicals.
New analysis by EDC-Free campaign partner CIEL exposes how the pesticide industry in Europe and the US is using the ongoing EU-US trade negotiations (TTIP) to lower human health and environmental standards in order to increase trade in toxic pesticides.
The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather feedback on public concerns on hormone disrupting chemicals, and over 13,000 individuals have already responded.
We need you to help us! There is just 1 day left until the consultation closes (Friday 16 January 2015).
This is the only chance you will have to directly give your opinion and call for the urgent removal of hormone-disrupting chemicals from our lives to protect our health!
As the European Commission has made this public consultation very technical, the EDC-Free Europe coalition launched an easy to use online platform called 'Say NO to hormone disrupting chemicals' to enable individuals to submit prepared answers to the European Commission. The platform is available in English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Spanish and Swedish.
It will take you less than five minutes to take action. Just fill in your details and with the help of four simple steps your submission will be sent directly to the European Commission.
Take action here http://no2hormonedisruptingchemicals.org/
If you are an organisation, we encourage you to submit your own answers to the consultation directly here https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/ED-consultation
Thanks for your support!
