European Code Against Cancer Logo Coloured

And the winners for the European Code Against Cancer logo are...  Corina Teodora CHIRILA and Sergiu Mihai VLAD, from Romania! Congratulations!

The winner of the European Code Against Cancer Logo Design Competition was unveiled at the ECL General Assembly in Belfast on 12 November.

The winning entry was submitted by Corina Teodora Chirila (25) & Sergiu Mihai Vlad (23) who both come from Romania. Both designers are currently studying at "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest. Sergiu is currently in his first semester at the School of Architecture, whilst Corina is enrolled within the School of Urban Planning, studying for a Master's Degree in Urban Planning.

All eligible entries were shortlisted to a final 5 by ECL's youth ambassador for cancer prevention. The finalists were then selected by a jury representing IARC, DG Santé of the European Commission, and ECL board members.

The European Code Against Cancer logo competition was launched in order to provide the Code with a consistent and distinctive visual identity that can be used in ECL's public communications related to the European Code Against Cancer.

Congratulations to Corina and Sergiu and to all participants!
