Pictorial Warnings on Cigarette Packs

ECL supports European efforts for including graphic warnings on cigarette packages.
Increasingly, evidence is available to support the use of pictures with text warnings on cigarette packets as an effective communication measure in tobacco control.

As part of our efforts for more effective communications in tobacco control, we organized "The Power of Communications against Tobacco" seminar and exhibition in Brussels from 31 January to 2 February 2007. Further actions are being considered to disseminate this information to other member states.
