She is a MPH and PhD student at the Tobacco Control Unit of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (a WHO Collaborating Centre) working not only on epidemiological research to establish new evidence of the harmful effects of tobacco and new effective interventions to reduce smoking prevalence in Spain, but also collaborating with the Catalan Network of Smoke Free Hospitals. Her study fields are diverse but, at the moment, she is focused on studying the impact of tobacco control policies on smoking prevalence and quit ratios in European Union countries over the last decade.
